EL PAYO HUMBERTO
1970 - 1980

It
is during this time that Humberto gets to meet and know
some of the great names in flamenco, such as the singers
Pericón de Cádiz, Juan Varea, Rafael Romero, Pepe el de
la Matrona, as well as guitarists like Manolo Sanlucar,
Perico el del Lunar, ( son ) Paco de Lucía, and the
singer Camarón.
Humberto returns to Holland in 1972 en takes up
teaching ( 1972 – present day ). He also performs
regularly, both as a soloist and as ‘ second man ‘,
accompanying singers and dancers. |
